If UFC on ESPN 10 was an event designed to shine a light on overlooked talents, that was reflected in the evening’s $50,000 bonuses.
Performance of the Night awards were handed out to Marvin Vettori, Mariya Agapova, Tyson Nam, and Christian Aguilera after all four earned first-round finishes on Saturday’s card at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Vettori settled the score with rival Karl Roberson in the co-main event, softening him up with ground-and-pound before finishing with a rear-naked choke.
Also winning by rear-naked choke was Agapova, a 23-year-old flyweight prospect who made short work of Hannah Cifers.
Nam and Aguilera authored two of the fastest finishes on the card, with Nam’s 32-second one-punch KO of Zarrukh Adashev edging out the debuting Christian Aguilera’s 59-second TKO of Anthony Ivy.
For all four fighters, this was their first time taking home a Fight Night bonus check.
No Fight of the Night bonus was awarded.
