Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will have to recover a bit faster than he’s used to.
“The Reaper” has just defeated Darren Till at UFC Fight Island 3 in Abu Dhabi, but that won’t be the last of him for 2020.
The New-Zealand born Australian will be facing another top name of the middleweight division and his name is Jarred Cannonier.
The bout is scheduled for October 24 when UFC 254 takes part. The show is being headlined by the lightweight clash between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje.

The 36-year-old Cannonier hasn’t fought since September when he defeated Jack Hemansson via TKO.
