If a fight between those two materializes, it will produce a great boxing bout for the fans, because both guys are willing to fight on the inside.
Ruiz Jr. hasn’t fought since December when Anthony Joshua defeated him via UD. Since then the Mexican-American changed coaches and for the last couple of months, he is training with Eddy Reynoso.
Arreola, 39, hasn’t fought since August of 2019 when Adam Kownacki defeated him via UD. “The Nightmare” is one of the more popular boxers in the US – he has fought Deontay Wilder, Bermane Stiverne, Vitali Klitschko, Tomasz Adamek, Seth Mitchell, and Jameel McCline years ago.
There is still no information on the venue and the date for the clash.
