Croatia’s number 1 ranked heavyweight Filip Hrgovic continues to shine under the bright lights.
Hrgovic claimed his 11th pro win this past Saturday in Denmark when he KO’d the late replacement Alexandre Kartozia from Greece. Kartozia accepted the fight just several days before the bout.
Initially, the Croatian boxer had to face Ondrej Pala, but the Czech pulled out.
Hrgovic got the KO in the second round when he clamped his adversary in the corner and launched a hard right hand straight to the face of Kartozia who crumbled right away.

Even though it was a great knock out, such fights are not helping the big Croatian. It was an absolute mismatch and Kartozia is nowhere near the level of the 2016 Olympian.
Hrgovic got power and his movement is pretty good, but he can’t be boxing against opposition like this and then want to challenge the bigger names.
