The 2021 World Kendo Championships have been postponed to 2022, the International Kendo Federation has announced.
The event was scheduled to take place between May 27th to 30th in Villebon-Sur-Yvette, France, but the coronavirus pandemic has pushed the competition back.
This was supposed to be the 18th World Championships, but instead, the European Kendo Federation has decided to use this time frame for organizing a high-level Kendo Referee Seminar in Paris.
The General Assembly of EKF will also be held at the end of May.
