Former multiple world champions Miguel Cotto and Juan Manuel Marquez will become the latest boxing legends that will make a return to the ring for an exhibition fight.
Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr., Oscar de la Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., Anderson Silva and probably Evander Holyfield all jumped in on the trend of old legends making a comeback God knows why, but it is what it is.
Cotto, 40, and Marquez, 47, will engage in a fight that is set for June 12 on a location yet to be determined. Details on the event have yet to be confirmed other than that an announcement from both parties is expected in the coming days.
“Dinamita” retired in 2014 after he defeated Mike Alvarado for the WBO International welterweight title.
