WBC heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury has once again bashed his future opponent Anthony Joshua.
The two Brits are on the verge of colliding two times in 2021. The first fight is being targeted for June-July-August, with negotiations between the two camps still going on.
According to Fury, once he lands flush, it will be all over for the unified heavyweight king.
“It’s pretty simple – [I just have to] hit him in the face a few times and he’ll fall over. He doesn’t have the biggest heart, he hasn’t got the most resilience and he’s not the hardest to hit. When I land it’s gonna be over quite quickly,” Fury told ESPN.
The ‘Gypsy King’ has been out of the ring since February of 2020, when he stopped Deontay Wilder in seven rounds to capture the WBC title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
However, with his inactivity growing it’s getting to the point where Fury wants to simply stay activate and doesn’t care who’s standing in the other corner.
“I hope he’s next. I’m hoping and praying it’s going to be AJ but I’m not going to wait around forever. I need to be active, I need to keep busy, and it’s up to Top Rank to make that happen,” Fury said.
“They’re my promotional team and I’m sure they’re going to keep me busy this year. I need two fights this year, regardless of who it’s gonna be, let’s make it happen.”
