Charles Oliveira: Serial Submission Hunter
Jorge Patino awarded Charles Oliveira his black belt in May of 2010. Oliveira most recently took home a big win at UFC 256 against Tony Ferguson in December of last year via unanimous decision, carrying on a winning streak that stands eight fights long. Oliveira heavily incorporates his grappling skills into his MMA career, the proof is in the results of him taking nineteen of his thirty wins via submission. This makes Oliveira the fighter who has racked up the most submission wins in UFC history – a grappling legend.
Congratulations on earning your third degree Charles, and best of luck for the Lightweight Title fight bout Vs Michael Chandler at UFC 262. The fight is an absolutely stacked card and will take place on 15 May 2021. Will the submission hunter be able to add another fight to his win streak and to his UFC sub record? Tune in to find out.
