The UFC Vegas 29 event didn’t disappoint the MMA fans around the globe, producing some excellent and hard-fought bouts.
A total of 13 fights were produced, with six of them being on the main card of the show. The first June show will be remembered by the late victory of Jairzinho Rozenstruik, who KO’d Augusto Sakai in the very last second of the opening round.
The drama-filled main event was the reason Rozenstruik gagged an additional $50 000. The Surinamese fighter got the “Performance of the Night” bonus, but he wasn’t the only one.
Poland’s Marcin Tybura defeated Walt Harris in the c0-main event. Tybura secured the win via a late first-round TKO meeting $50 000 more.
The “Fight of the Night” bonus was awarded to the pair Santiago Ponzinibbio and Miguel Baeza. Their bout was part of the main card and both guys put on a show that could very well be a contender for “Fight of the Year”.
