The war of words between former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte rages on this week after Wilder tells Sky Sports that Whyte could’ve had a shot at him already if the Brixton man had showed any balls. Both Whyte and Wilder have a history of taking shots at one another but they haven’t seemed to have ever gotten close to actually penning a contract to fight each other.
“Dillian Whyte could have got this work,” Wilder told Sky Sports. “He ain’t nothing but s*** to my toilet paper, that I flushed a year ago. But let him keep fighting. Keep going mate. Soon we shall see each other once more and see that he grow some type of balls…He is the bottom of my feet, the scum between my toes. That’s what I look at him.”
Wilder would continue by likening Whyte to a roach who scurries away when the lights come on and encourages Whyte to keep running. Whyte, however, has a very different perspective on things, saying that he’s been the one seeking out a fight with Wilder for some time now and that Wilder just uses his name to talk shit.
“He ran and hid from me for over three years and has no right to mention my name. It’s a shame to see the last American heavyweight champion behaving in this fashion, it’s disgraceful…“He’s a coward inside and outside the ring…The next time I see that ********* ********, I will hurt him.”
Of course that’s not the only things Whyte had to say on the Wilder subject, also adding that he believes it’ll be a shame that once Tyson Fury beats him in their upcoming rematch that Wilder will run into retirement where he’ll never get his own chance to put hands on the American.
