UFC Vegas 36 weigh-in results: Derek Brunson, Darren Till on weight for main event, one fighter misses

Chalk up another setback for Jonathan Martinez at the scale.

Martinez was the lone fighter to miss weight at Friday’s official morning weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 36, which takes place Saturday at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. He weighed in at 138 pounds, two pounds over the limit for his preliminary bantamweight bout against Marcelo Rojo (135.5).

This is the second time in Martinez’s UFC career that he has missed weight. For a bantamweight bout against Frankie Saenz on Aug. 1, 2020, Martinez weighed in at 140.5 pounds, 4.5 pounds over the limit.

It was later reported that the Martinez-Rojo bout was cancelled due to complications following his weight cut.

Middleweight headliners Derek Brunson and Darren Till both successfully made weight, with Brunson tipping the scales at 186 pounds and Till at 185.5.
