Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. has had its fair share of supporting casts during its long and troubled genesis; the June 19th date included Franchon Crews-Dezurn vs. Elin Cederroos, Michael Hunter vs. Mike Wilson, and Andy Vences vs. Jono Carroll. Those bouts wound up scattering to the winds when Lopez caught COVID, and Triller has now revealed a new undercard alongside the October 4th PPV’s $49.99 price tag.
As of this writing, TBA still has to carry the musical accompaniment on his back. What a champ.
The “outstanding, once-in-a-lifetime event’s” lead prelim sees super lightweight Daniel Lopez (20-2-1, 7 KO) face Petros Ananyan (15-2-2, 7 KO), who upset Subriel Matias in February 2020. Undefeated super welterweights Jose Roman (11-0, 5 KO) and Cesar Francis (8-0, 6 KO) will also duke it out, as will super lightweights Will Madera (16-1-3, 9 KO) and Jamshidbek Najmitdinov. You may recall Najmitdinov from his near-upset of Viktor Postol in 2017.
Joe Ward (4-1, 2 KO), Frederic Julian (12-0, 10 KO), and Harley Mederos (1-0, 1 KO) round out the undercard against the multi-talented TBA.
