Unified heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua has decided to sign a promotional extension with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
The 31-uear-old Brit has been a part of Matchroom since he turned pro back in 2013 and according to sources the new contract will keep him at Hearn’s stable until the end of his pro career.
Joshua put pen to paper just days before his anticipated ring return against Oleksandr Usyk. The pair collides this Saturday night in London with the WBO, IBF and the WBA “Super” belts being put on the line.
“I’m happy where I am. A handshake is good enough for me, but the signature solidifies it, and I’m happy where my signature is,” said Joshua in a statement about his new career extension with Matchroom.

The new deal means Aj will keep on fighting on Sky Sports and DAZN which at that point of his career will get him the most visibility around the world and probably the best money.
“The deal has been a while in the making, so we are really pleased to have it signed and sealed before another huge fight on Saturday night,” said Eddie Hearn on Joshua signing a promotional extension.
