UFC 266 is just days away and the event will mark the return of non other than Nick Diaz. The Stockton native will be facing another old timer Robbie Lawler in a rematch of their first fight back in 2004.
Initially, the upcoming five rounder was scheduled to take place at welterweight, but now it has been announced the bout will be held in the middleweight division.
This sudden change is happening four days before fight night, and no specific reasons were given. But during a media scrum after the Contender Series on Tuesday, UFC president Dana White shed some light on the situation.
