Everything is set and done and now we just sit and wait for the third and final meeting between two of the finest heavyweights in our lifetimes.
Both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder made weight (as there were any doubts) before their trilogy fight which takes place in the early Sunday morning hours (European time).
Fury, 33, tipped the scale at 125.6 kg, which is almost two kilos more than his last fight in February 2020 (123.8 kg) and almost 10 more than his first fight with Wilder back in December 2018 (116.3 kg).
Wilder, 35, weighed in at 107.9 kg, which is a personal record for him. “The Bronze Bomber” has never been heavier in his career. Wilder checked in at 96.3 kg for the initial bout in Los Angeles nearly three years ago, and 104.7 kilos for the rematch in Las Vegas last year.
