Great news came in yesterday when the promoter Yvon Michel broke the news that the former WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (29-2-1) went home this past weekend for the very first time since the horrific injury he suffered last December when “Superman” lost his fight with Oleksandr Gvzodyk. After the fight, the 41-year-old Canadian was hospitalized and for some time he was put in a coma because of a near life-threatening brain injury.

The last few months were pretty harsh for Stevenson and his family, but the most important thing is that his rehabilitation is going well and now he is in much better shape.
