Without a doubt Mariyan Dimitrov is one of the brightest examples from the Bulgarian fight academy. It does not come as a surprise that in a few weeks he’ll become the next bright stars at BKFC. But before that we are going to see him at SENSHI 18 where he faces the Dutchman Tony van Dijk who is training side by side to people like Reinier de Ridder. They are fighting by the KWU Open rules at 82 kg.
“He is a tall fighter, a tough fighter who comes from the Dutch academy but my intention is to show him that the Bulgarian academy should not be underestimated and I am planning to show him the Bulgarian strength“, Mariyan said for his rival.
Dimitrov is entering his toughest cycle in his career because in the next few weeks he will fight tree times. A week from now he’ll not only be part of a fight gala but he’ll lead the organization for the charity event “Yes to sports, No to violence”. But for now he is completely focused on his next challenge. What comes next will have to wait.
“Definitely the harder part is the organization because for me personally as a fighter I am used to focus entirely on my training process. I am managing tough. It is a little bit difficult but I think I’m doing well“, he added.
