Doychev: I wanted to push the tempo in the third round but I got tired

Kristiyan Doychev got another victory under his belt at SENSHI 23 when he faced Valentinos Kiriakidis. Before the fight most of the kickboxing fans expected to see a KO from the Bulgarian but the Greek fighter proved to be tougher that expected.

I can’t say that his shots bothered me too much but the fatigue started coming in. That’s why in the third round I tried to push the tempo up but I couldn’t do it as planed“, Doychev said for Boec.

Never the less he managed to give the crowd a win to cheer for and especially for the young ones near the ring. He shared that it was a huge pleasure to see the joy on their faces and hopes that one day he is going to inspire some of the to become the next generation in Bulgaria that is going to perform in the highest level on venues like SENSHI.
