Massive news regarding the heavyweight division came yesterday from England. WBC silver heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte (25-1-0) will be making his return to the ring in the middle of the summer in his hometown London. “The Body Snatcher” will be lacing them up for Colombia’s Oscar Rivas (26-0-0) as the two will fight in the main event of the fight evening in O2 Arena.
Both guys are one of the most powerful punchers and their hardcore style will be colliding in what could be one of the best matches of the year.
Whyte’s last bout was in December when he KO’d Derek Chisora in a spectacular way in the 11th round. Rivas, meanwhile, TKO’d Bryant Jennings back in January claiming the IBF International heavyweight title.
“Kaboom” stands 184 cm tall, while the 31-year-old Whyte height is 193 cm.
