WBC Interim world heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte (26-1) has finally spoken on the hot subject surrounding his name in the last few days.
The Brit got caught with PEDs in his system prior to his last fight with Colombia’s Oscar Rivas (26-1), but UKAD and British Boxing Board of Control allegedly let the fight go on and didn’t alarm WBC or Rivas’s team.
Now the next step is to open his “B” sample, and if she’s positive too “The Body Snatcher” might get suspended for 4 years because that’s the second time he’ll be found guilty of using banned substances.
Still, the 31-year-old believes he did nothing wrong and said that he won the bout fair and square:
I am so disappointed with the rubbish that has been said about me over the last few days.
I have lawyers dealing with it and I have been told that I can't talk about it for good legal reasons.
I was cleared to fight and I won that fight fair and square. Thanks for the support
