Khabib Nurmagomedov (28-0) might be two fights away from retiring, according to his dad plans. Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is Khabib’s father and coach, as he had the chance to witness his son greatness in UFC for the first time this past week at UFC 242 when “The Eagle” beat Dustin Poirier.
Khabib has said numerous time throughout the past year that he has no clue when the time to retire will come, but maybe Nurmagomedov Sr. knows a little bit more.
According to the Abdulmanap, his son needs only two more wins before he hangs the gloves for good.
“For Khabib, 30-0 is enough,” the father said in an interview with Russian outlet TASS.

If we take his words for granted this means only one thing – Khabib will meet only two of potential three big names (Tony Ferguson, mega clash with GSP and one of a lifetime rematch with Conor McGregor). The 30-year-old Dagestan native is set to fight with Ferguson, but there are numerous reports out there that his team is focused on securing that blockbuster money fight with Georges Saint-Pierre.
Abdulmanap added that his only desire for his son’s last fight is to defend his belt in Moscow. Without a doubt, an event like this will sell out any stadium in Moscow. UFC has already been once in Russia and is gearing up another one for the late fall.
In conclusion, all those plans Nurmagomedov Sr. is making sound great, but we should ask Mr. “El Cucuy” to give his thoughts on the 30-0.
