One of the greatest heavyweight mixed martial artist in the history – Fedor Emelianenko (38-6) will probably have his last pro bout next year in his home country of Russia.
Fedor, 42, signed a new multi-fight deal this summer with Bellator MMA, which guarantees that we’ll see him fight at least two more times. According to reports from American outlets, “The Last Emperor” will square off against Quinton Jackson on December 29 in Tokyo, but there is still nothing official from Scott Coker.

Still, the President of the company admitted that Bellator is looking to expand the brand in Russia, Asia, and Latin America. He also expressed his opinion that Fedor will eventually fight in Russia and that might be his last clash.
Russia is an interesting territory. We have several offers on the table. I do think Fedor will fight in Russia and that will coincide with the Bellator launch. https://t.co/sNOjycZPVO
