Atanas Bozhilov is going for his first European SENSHI title defense this weekend at the 22th edition of the international fight gala. He is challenged by Samo Petje. Boec reached out to the Bulgarian at the open workout earlier today and we found out that he wants everything to be as perfect in the ring as it was on the weigh-ins the morning before.
“I lost around 4-5 kg. It start to get much harder to do so. That comes with age as you know. But I was surprised earlier when I stopped the scale at perfect 72.000 kg. That was perfect. It was some time since I managed to do it so perfectly. I hope that tomorrow it will be the same in the ring“, Nakata said.
In combat sports athletes often have some rituals to ask Fortuna for help. But Bozhilov is not among them. He only wants to rest in the hours before his fights and concentrate on the mission ahead.
“I am 100% ready. My camp went as planned. I hope that things will be the same tomorrow. I’ve studied my opponent and I can say that he is a skilled and tough fighter and he will give his best as am I. Lets hope for a nice match and me walking out victorious“, added Atanas.
The bout between Atanas Bozhilov and Samo Petje will be the co-main event at SENSHI 22 on July 6th. The start is at 6:30 PM local time and the venue is located on the beach in front of restaurant More in Saints Konstantin and Helena resort near Varna, Bulgaria.
