Atanas Bozhilov with a masterful performance at SENSHI 10

Bulgaria’s Atanas Bozhilov earned himself a nice and well deserved victory at the SENSHI 10 event that was held on Saturday night in Varna, Bulgaria.

The World WAKO PRO champion defeated Switzerland’s Philipp Hafeli via UD, as he managed to bounce back after his most recent loss at SENSHI 9. That was victory number 8 for Bozhilov.

The clash got conducted under the KWU Full Contact ruleset in the -75 kg category.

The home crowd hero took the center of the ring right from the get go, making it clear that he’ll be the one dictating the pace of the fight. Bozhilov was methodical and patient, as he was cutting the distance almost perfectly. Hafeli was counterattacking with his jab, but Bozhilov’s pressure was too much at times for “The Sniper” who was fighting primarily from his back foot.

The second part begun with another massive barrage of attacks by Atanas, who was doing damage both with his kicks and punches. The 27-year-old Swiss was moving close to the ropes and he had no other option but to absorb the powerful low kicks that Bozhilov was landing.

The final three minutes of the clash were once again dominated by the Bulgarian, who was the one gunning for the finish. Still, Hafeli didn’t allow to get caught with a KO type bomb and managed to hear the final bell.

SENSHI 10 is organised with the cooperation of the KWU International Professional League, Armeec Insurance Group, Max Sport, Bulgaria Air, M-Car Group.
