Cage Warriors veteran Soren Bak is the newest addition to the Bellator roster.
Multiple sources have confirmed the transfer after an initial report from The Sun. “Signing with Bellator was really a great feeling and it’s a step up to the big leagues. I was out walking with my wife at the time when we got the call from my agent and it drastically changes what we have been talking about. It’s a big step up financially and the time and effort I have to put into the sport. I fully expect to move up the ladder as is the case any time you move into an organization like Bellator, or Cage Warriors. Even though I have a good record and good run coming in I know I have to prove myself in front of new opposition.I fully expect I am capable of reaching what I did at Cage Warriors,” Bak told The Sun.
A 27-year-old native of Denmark, Bak claimed the vacant lightweight crown with a unanimous decision win over Paddy Pimblett at Cage Warriors 96. In his most recent bout, he captured the interim featherweight crown with a majority decision triumph against Morgan Charriere at Cage Warriors 103 on March 9. “The True Viking” has been victorious in 12 of his 13 professional fights overall.
