The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has already declared its interest in signing a pair of two former UFC heavyweights – Alistair Overeem and Junior dos Santos.
Both “Reem” and “Cigano” were released from the UFC a few days ago and they became free agents. BKFC President David Feldman admitted he has already reached out to both of them and their teams about a potential move to Bare Knuckle fights.
“Yes, we are interested in both Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem. We have already made contact with them and their teams. Let’s see what happens,” Feldman told BJPenn.com via text message on Friday.

If the Brazilian and the Dutch vets decide to take their talents to Feldman’s roster, they will follow in the footsteps of several other UFC fighters who found home in BKFC after their UFC stay – Chris Leben, Artem Lobov, Chris Lytle and, most recently, Paige VanZant.
