The official bulletin of the 2021 Karate 1-Premier League Rabat has now been published. As the anticipated event reaches the two-month-to-go mark, the official document outlining the main organizational elements of the tournament is now online.
The 2021 Karate 1-Premier League in Rabat is scheduled to be held from April 9 to 11, 2021. The event is one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year since it is included in the Olympic qualification process. Karatekas from around the world will find there the last opportunity to earn the points to qualify for the Olympic Games by standings.
One of the flagship events of the year, the Karate 1-Premier League Rabat will take place in the Multi-Purpose Stadiums Prince Moulay Abdellah. Celebrated following the COVID-19 protocol and with all the safety measures, the tournament is organized by the Moroccan Karate Federation under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.
It is the fifth time that Rabat hosts a Karate 1-Premier League event. Before the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, nearly 600 competitors from 75 countries participated in the 2019 edition of the event.
