Former WBA super middleweight champion Callum Smith will be making his comeback this September. The Liverpudlian will be fighting against former world title challenger Lenin Castillo in what will be Callum’s light heavyweight debut.
The fight will take place on the Anthony Joshua – Oleksandr Usyk fight card on September 25 in London. Smith, 31, hasn’t fought since last December when Canelo Alvarez defeated him via UD.
The 32-year-old Dominican will be stepping to the ring for the first time since July 2021, when he returned from nearly a 18-months hiatus with a win against Ronald Gonzalez.
