UFC featherweight Calvin Kattar will have to undergo a surgery on his injured knee.
The American got injured in his last fight against Arnold Allen at UFC Fight Night 213 in October when his ACl got torn. The fight ended in a No Contest due to the freakish injury.
According to Kattar himself, the injury and the rehabilitation period will be at least 8 months, as he expects to return to the cage at the end of 2023.
“There’s not much I can say, it is what it is,” Kattar said. “I tore my ACL, getting surgery in a couple weeks. Should be ready to go at the end of 2023. The goal remains the same.”
