Check out the awarded fighters with special prizes at SENSHI 20

Three outstanding SENSHI 20 fighters took prizes for knockout of the night, best technique, and high fighting spirit

The 20th-anniversary edition of the International Fight Gala Night SENSHI was held to high interest on February 24 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, with the participation of fighters from 15 countries. The extremely attractive 13 fights, more of which ended in knockouts, thrilled the live audience in the hall and the spectators in front of the small screen.

At the end of the evening three outstanding fighters received special prizes from the organizers. The traditional SENSHI 20 “Best Technique” prize for the fighting skills demonstrated in the arena was awarded to Ahmed Krnjic from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The SENSHI European 95+ champion once again showed his high class in the final match of the evening and defeated the Romanian Florin Ivanoe by unanimous judges’ decision.

At SENSHI 20, the crowd enjoyed as many as seven knockouts, making it difficult for the organizers to choose. However, the “Knockout of the Night” award deservedly went to Asdren Gashi, who pushed Turkish fighter Kadir Yildirim to the floor. The terminator from Türkiye could not get to his feet for a long time after the powerful punch of the Belgian Gashi.

The special “Fight Spirit” award was given to Serbian Nikola Stosic, who lost his controversial match against Loic Njeya. Still, the high level of his fighting skills and indomitable perseverance delayed the judges’ decision, who gave an extra round to both fighters. In the end, the Cameroonian prevailed, and the crowd was treated to an extremely strong encounter in the ring.

The awards were personally presented to the fighters by world-famous masters Shihan Akira Masuda from Japan, Shihan Francisco Filho from Brazil, and Dutch fight legend Ernesto Hoost.

The next exciting SENSHI 21 Fighting Gala Night will be held again in the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, on April 20, 2024, and combat sports fans are already counting the days until the clashes in the arena.
