UFC President Dana White admitted he wants to see one of his biggest superstars back in the cage this year, but he doubts it will happen.
Yes, he’s talking about the one and only Nate Diaz.
“I hope he fights this year,” White said during a recent ESPN+ fan Q&A with Laura Sanko. “I hope so. I’d like to see him fight. I’m not counting on it, but I’d like to see him fight.”
Diaz took a break in 2020. The American hasn’t fought in UFC since 2019 when he defeated Anthony Pettis at UFC 241 and loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244.
Recently Nate dropped a video of himself training alongside his bigger brother Nick Diaz, who hopes to return to pro-MMA this year.
