The undefeated British heavyweight Daniel Dubois (13-0) has absolutely demolished Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh (19-1) to become the new Commonwealth heavyweight champion.
“Dynamite” crushed his adversary in the very first round, as it was obvious that this would be a huge mismatch in terms of pure boxing skills and wills.
The main event of the fight night in London was being regarded by fans as easy work for Dubois and they were right on point. The Brit send Tetteh twice to the canvas with a fury of left and right body and headshots. The African couldn’t get his defense right, as he was too slow and predictable for the youngster.
The fight was halted after the second knockdown. The official time of the stoppage was at 2:10 of round 1.
After the fight was waved off, Ghana’s boxing pride was pissed off at the ref and even pushed him with his gloves, showcasing to everybody in attendance how frustrated he is. But knowing what Dubois is capable of inside the ropes, Tetteh should probably be thankful that he wasn’t allowed to continue this massacre.
