Delyan Georgiev is coming back at SENSHI 23 to face the BJJ fighter Lucas Lima. The Bulgarian fighter gave his thoughts in a exclusive interview for Boec.
“I am training in Varna. Currently we are working in sparing sessions as I try to challenge various opponents. I feel good and I am ready for the upcoming battle. I am fully focused on the KWU OPEN rules. After every other fight in the ring I feel even more confident being inside it“, Georgiev said.
Delyan pointed out that it was an easy decision to accept the fight. When he received the offer he said ‘Yes’ without hesitation.
“I don’t intend to wait for the judges. My plan is to finish him early. I will try to keep the fight standing and my idea is to knock him out as I did at SENSHI 22. I somehow feel calm because again I am facing a BJJ fighter. I know very well what it’s like to be against such opponents“, he added.
The Bulgarian can’t wait to get inside the ring in front of his home crowd and give it something to cheer about. He hopes that there will be allot of people by the ring to support him and motivate him to the fullest.
