Delyan Georgiev opened the professional international fight gala SENSHI 22 with a KO victory against Lucas Tenorio in the third round. But that didn’t came without a fuss because he was nearly chocked by the Brazilian in the first round with a guillotine on the beach near Varna, Bulgaria. In his interview for Boec he said that he never gives up in such situations.

I don’t give up to chocked in fights. I don’t even do it in training. He had a tight grip but it didn’t even cross my mind to tap“, the Bulgarian said.

He was not surprised by the skills of his opponent on the ground. It was his desire to fight in close range that came as a shock for him. That’s why the crisis happened at the start and he managed to adapt in the second and third round.

Delyan Georgiev also added that he was inspired and intimidated by the fact that he was fighting in front of his home crowd.
