UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson shared his thoughts in the aftermath of the rematch between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.
Unlike the first encounter, this time Stipe was on the losing end after he got KO’d in the second round of the UFC 260 main event. “The Predator” is now the new heavyweight champion of the organization and many believe a third fight will come only after the new king welcomes Jon Jones to the big boys.
Brunson, a 9-year UFC veteran believes Stipe should go down to the light heavyweight instead of waiting for his next shot at the crown.
The 38-year-old American has never been one of the biggest guys in the heavyweight division. The former champion came in at 106.1 kg for the fight against Ngannou, while the Cameronian upped him with almost 13 kilos.
