Former world heavyweight title challenger Derek Chisora (31-9) has a new official adversary for his Ocotber26 fight in London at O2 Arena.
“WAR” was supposed to face former WBO world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (26-2) in the co-main event of Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis, but the New Zealander had been bitten by a spider and therefore was forced to withdraw from the bout.
Now Chisora will have to go through his fellow countryman David Price (25-6). There were rumors that Eddie Hearn could throw Otto Wallin, Alexander Povetkin or Michael Hunter at Chisora, but it’s safe to say David Price is probably the best option given the circumstances.

British boxing fans will definitely love to see the fight and at the end of the day, this is what really matters to Matchroom Boxing.
Both Chisora and Price last fought in July at the same venue. The 35-year-old Chisora KO’d Artur Szpilka, while the 36-year-old Price defeated David Allen.
