British promoter Eddie Hearn believes Anthony Joshua has the superior resume in terms of who he fought up to this moment compared to his fellow countryman Tyson Fury.
According to Matchroom Boxing boss, a unification fight between the two in 2021 will once and for all prove that Joshua is the best heavyweight of this era.
“It makes me laugh when people look at AJ’s resume,” Hearn told Sky Sports. “Maybe I’m seeing something other people don’t?
“I mean Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin, Carlos Takam previously that I missed out, Andy Ruiz, Kubrat Pulev.
“These are consecutive fights. You don’t see Tom Schwarz, Otto Wallin, Sefer Serferi. Who is the other geezer? I can’t even remember his name, the Italian bloke? And then Agit Kabayel.
“I mean it’s laughable when you compare the two resumes, but it’s in black and white for everyone to see.”
However, Hearn forgot to mention the fact that Fury is still undefeated and he was the first of the two Brits to beat Wladimir Klitschko and then demolished Deontay Wilder twice, even though the first fight was scored a draw.
