Eduard Aleksanyan: I hope this time it won’t come to a judge’s decision

SENSHI European title holder Eduard Aleksanyan returns to the ring for his first defense of the crown. The fighter gave an exclusive interview to Boec.bg before the spectacular gala in Varna.

“My preparation is going well ahead of my fight against Jakob Styben. I have no injuries and feel in good shape ahead of this important fight. I can’t wait to get in the ring and show that I am the better one. It was easy to get to the fight – he wanted a rematch and I didn’t think twice and accepted, hopefully this time it won’t go to a judges decision,” said Aleksanyan.

Eddie decided to keep his game plan a secret and called all his fans and combat sports enthusiasts to attend the fight arena by the sea. He said he hopes to reach the record of Atanas Bozhilov, who at SENSHI 22 will pursue his 20th victory in the organization.

“Every bout is different; I’m excited to defend my European title. It’s exciting to compete in front of a home crowd; it’s the best thing a fighter can experience. SENSHI is a place where everyone who comes can feel the thrill of the sport, and it is an unforgettable event. I hope many people will support us,” added the Bulgarian.

He told us that his long absence from fighting was due to a rib injury but assured us that he is now 100% recovered and able to show his best.

The International Martial Arts Gala Night SENSHI 22 will be held on July 6 at 6:30 p.m. EET at the restaurant More on the beach of St. St. Constantine and Helena, Varna. Hurry up to reserve your place on the beach, enjoy the fantastic fight show, and support the Bulgarian fighters — tickets for the gala night are available online at Eventim.bg.
