Eduard Aleksanyan is coming back this weekend at SENSHI 22 to try and defend his European title against Jakob Styben in a long waited rematch between the two. The Bulgarian gave himself six months outside of the kickboxing scene and in an interview for Boec he shared that he needed that break to recharge physically and mentally.

I gave myself a really nice rest and time to recover. I needed that and I really missed it before. You will see this Saturday“, Aleksanyan said.

In the mean time he admitted that he had the opportunity to be more conceptual in his preparation and that is why he didn’t have any issue with the official weigh-in earlier today. He got rid of all the unwanted kilograms without a fuss.

The fact that I am defending the European title is verry valuable to me. I will give a 100 per cent or even 110 per cent“, added Eduard.

The bout against Jakob Styben will be the main event of the evening at SENSHI 22. The international fight gala is scheduled for July 6th at 6:30 PM local time. The venue will be on the beach in front of restaurant More in Saints Konstantin and Helena resort near Varna, Bulgaria.
