We are just a couple of days away from one of the most anticipated welterweight fights of 2019.
IBF world champion Errol Spence Jr. (25-0) will face WBC king Shawn Porter (30-2-1) in a unification bout this Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old southpaw from Texas will put his unblemished record on the line and the winner of the bout will drastically increase his chances of facing WBA “Super” and WBA regular champion Manny Pacquiao in 2020.
The 31-year-old Porter is on a four-fight winning streak with his last loss came by the hands of Keith Thurman in 2016. Both boxers had their open workouts yesterday in front of the fans and the media.
Spence Jr. and Shawn showcased great physique and focus, demonstrating just a glimpse of their undeniable boxing skills by some shadow boxing excelence.
