Errol Spence Jr. – Yordenis Ugas announced for April 16

The welterweight unification bout between WBA and IBF world champion Errol Spence Jr. and the WBA ruler Yordenis Ugas will be taking place on April 16 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Both guys will be putting their belts on the line.

Spence, 31, will be coming off a 16-month layoff since his last fight against Danny Garcia in December 2020. Errol would have returned to the ring last August against Manny Pacquiao, but he suffered a torn retina eye injury while sparring for that fight.

Cuba’s Ugas, 35, replaced Spence and shocked the world when he defeated “Pac-Man” via UD to get the WBA world title.
