Giannis Stoforidis lost his first fight inside the SENSHI ring when he suffered a KO defeat against Ariel Machado at the 22nd edition of the international fight gala near Varna, Bulgaria. He was a victim of the mutual mistake made by the referee and himself in a bout that looked already won.
“In the first round everything was OK but in the second when the judge said ‘Stop’, I lowered my hands and I received a knockdown. It wasn’t fair and I want a rematch“, the Greek said for Boec.
In that moment Sam Greco was refereeing the fight. He shouted at them to stop fighting in the clinch. That is when Stoforidis lowered his hands and left himself exposed to the right punch of his opponent. Then he went down the first time and the second was his last one. Before that he was inches close to a KO victory but the bell saved Machado and he turned the fight upside down.
