The MMA world is not something new for the 33-year-old elite kickboxer. The Brazilian has fought in MMA before and owns a 2-1 record from 2015 and 2016.
Pereira will still be a part of the GLORY roster. Last year he signed a new multi-fight deal with the leading kickboxing promotion which allows him to sign with an MMA organization.
At this time, the details regarding when he will make his promotional debut or who it will be against are unknown, but LFA did mention he would be joining the middleweight division.
