The Paris Grand Slam this year will be canceled. It was postponed to May, but in a call, on Friday it was confirmed that the traditional tournament in the heart of judo will not be held.
The date of 8-9 May will now be used for a Grand Slam in Russia. Since 2017 Ekaterinburg was the city of the Grand Slam in Russia, however, the city will still be announced. President of the French Judo federation Stéphane Nomis announced the news.
