Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm (12-5) has been forced to withdraw from this weekend’s UFC 243 in Melbourne, Australia.
The 37-year-old was scheduled to fight Raquel Pennington on the main card, but a late injury will keep her out of the event. The trauma occurred late in her training camp for the bout.

“The Preacher’s Daughter” posted a video on Instagram, explaining the severity of the injury.
The clash between the two was supposed to be a rematch from 2015 when Holm defeated Pennington via SD. WIth Holly out of the picture, Raquel has been pulled out of the card, too. There’s a big chance that the fight will be rescheduled for the near future.
As of now, the UFC has not determined which fight from the prelims will get moved to the main card.
