Iran claims Greco-Roman World Cup

Iran won the 2022 Wresting’s Greco-Roman World Cup which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The champions went toe-to-toe with the host nation, both winning five bouts, but Iran got the W due to classification points.

Iran claims the World Cup for the first time since 2016, while Azerbaijan finishes second for the second time in a row.
