UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachovicz is set to defend his belt against another champion of the company.
The middleweight ruler, Israel Adesanya, will be the one moving up one division in order to try to become the fifth double champion of UFC.
UFC President, Dana White, announced the news at the UFC Vegas 12 post-fight interview.

The 31-year-old Adesanya claimed the middleweight belt last year when he defeated Robert Whittaker. Since then, he defended the title against Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa.
“The Last Stylebender” was in talks to fight the former light heavyweight king Jon Jones, but “Bones” decided to pursue a career in the heavyweight division and the fight fell off for now.
Blachovicz, 37, claimed the LH throne at UFC 253 when he TKO’d Dominick Reyes in the second round.
The date and the location of the fight are yet to be announced.
