In a late addition to the UFC 252 fight card on Aug. 15, Jim Miller will make his return to action against The Ultimate Fighter 15 veteran Vinc Pichel.
UFC officials announced the new pairing on Wednesday.
Miller accepts his second short notice fight this year after he stepped up to face Roosevelt Roberts in June. On that night, Miller wrapped up a quick first-round submission win while putting himself at No. 3 in all-time wins for the UFC.
Now, he’ll look to add to that record when he fights on Aug. 15 against Pichel, who’s 5-2 overall inside the octagon. In his most recent outing, Pichel also picked up a win over Roberts, but it’s been over one year since he’s competed after an undisclosed injury kept him out of a fight this past November.
Miller vs. Pichel joins the UFC 252 line up with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic facing off against Daniel Cormier in the main event.
