Jivko Stoimenov is just a few hours away from his SENSHI debut against Drame Cherif from Benin. They are fighting by the KWU Open rules at 85 kg. One of the specifics is that they can’t fight more than 30 seconds on the ground. This will make the fight way more spectacular because they will be forced to exchange shots in standing position.
“I haven’t fought in a ring from a long time. I can’t remember how many years have past. But I am excited because I used to love it. We’ve worked on some special techniques a specially for the ring fight and I hope that I show them tomorrow“, Stoimenov said for Boec.
He worked with Rosen Dimitrov in his camp focusing exactly on the specific rules set but he didn’t share too much because he did not want to help the opposition before the match.
“He is a tough opponent. Here in Bulgaria we always take criticism and we are accused that we pick our fights. You can check his name. He has 7 victories and only 3 loses. And two of them came by decision. So here I am, fighting a big opponent and we will see what will happen. I can assure you that we will go for the win“, Jivko added.
SENSHI 20 is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
