The newly crowned EBU and British heavyweight champion Joe Joyce knows who he wants to face next.
This past weekend the Brit defeated KO’d Daniel Dubois in the 10th round, defeating all odds. The much younger Dubois was unable to see with his left eye that was closed due to the many punches Joyce landed there.
After the fight “The Juggernaut” was happy with his performance, even though many believe he could do even better.
When his promoter Frank Warren was being interviewd after the bout, he was asked what’s next for the 35-year-old, but Joyce answered himself by calling out the former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
"USSSYYYKKK!"

Joyce and Usyk know each other because they fought back in 2013. The ukrainina got the W when the pair met in the World Series of Boxing.
A potential second fight between Joyce and Uysk isn’t impossible, having in mind the fact that Dubois was ranked #2 by the WBO and Usyk is the mandatory challenger. Now when Joyce defeated “Dynamite”, he could be placed second in the rankings and if the belt becomes vacant, those two will fight for it.
